Community
Whilst we wait for Phase 2 of our redevelopment to start, the hoardings have been decorated again with passers-by joining in to create a wonderful mural depicting our aim as a church to reach out and serve our local community.
Phase 2 involves improving access and facilities for all our community rooms behind the church. They are heavily used by a wide variety of groups as well as being available to outside lets.
150 young people use our premises each week and there are 12,500 ‘visits’ to Kingsdown each year by people of all ages!
So we seek to live out our mission statement. We revisited it last year but we wanted to stick with its emphasis on being a community and serving the community.
