Fairtrade Sunday 13 March
|
You are invited to join Ealing Fair trade Group in
Ealing Broadway Centre on Sunday, 13th March This year, the focus for Fairtrade Fortnight is Fairtrade Cotton.
We are taking part in the Fairtrade Foundation's nationwide attempt to break the world record for the longest piece of hand-made bunting.
If you can spare a few minutes of your time, between 11.00 am and 5.00 pm, please come along and decorate a piece of Fairtrade cotton bunting.
All materials will be provided - all you need to bring is your creativity (oh, and your friends and family too!)
There will also be a chance to win some great Fairtrade raffle prizes. The bunting we produce will be put together with bunting from all over the country and will be used at international meetings and trade talks to draw attention to unfair US and European subsidies that are keeping African cotton farmers in poverty. For more information on Fairtrade Fortnight - and other ways to get involved - please visit: www.fairtrade.org.uk.
