Pieces Concert 16th May
Pieces are:
Nischa, who sings and plays melody harp
Peter, who plays guitar and sings
and Luis, who plays piano bass and organ.
They have been playing together since 2008, having known each other for much longer, using the world around them to create something that sounds new and old at the same time. Being the kinds of people who like to look for music in everything, they are occasionally joined by friends on all kinds of instruments. Dafydd plays Saxophones, Flute and Clarinet, Dave plays bassoon, and Matt plays percussion.
Pieces' famous sound table, present at every concert they play, contains a growing array of percussion instruments from around the world, including ladybird castinets and Cuban rhythm seed pods.
Pieces have just finished writing and recording their first album in a house in North London, and would love the chance to spread their music to ears that love to listen as much as they do.
